Android Online Radio

To manage user favorites and visits through Long click events. User wants to delete stations from their favorites and visits tab just long tap on the station which you want to delete then a pop-up appears on the window screen then it shows the options to manage the stations.

On the player screen,when the app is playing the station, the play button will turn into a stop button. This when pressed will stop the radio. Many people could not quite find it. So is an FAQ for it.
If the player is running in the background, you can switch to the player screen from the notification area and stop the playback,

Here is the answer to all the permissions used by the applicaiton:

1) READ_PHONE_STATE-> to stop the player when there is an incoming or outgoing call on your phone. This enables uninterrupted playback. Once you attend and complete the call, the player resumes.
2) WAKE_LOCK ->This is required to enable uninterrupted wifi connection when the phone is kept idle.
3) ACCESS_WIFI_STATE-> To know the wifi network state for the playback
4) INTERNET -> to browse and get the network connections for the player to play the streams
5) ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE -> to know the network state.

While on player screen, press the sleep timer button(bottom right most button). You will be popped up with a menu to set the time in minutes before the app has to close. The + button increases time by 5 minutes and - button decreases by 5 minutes. You can straight away enter the value using Keyboard. The present limit for the sleep timer is 180 minutes(3hrs).

Once you have set the sleep timer, the remaining time will appear in the player screen(bottom left above the control bar).
If you want to cancel an already set sleep timer, press the sleep timer button and press cancel all button on popup.

There are 3 possible ways to add your channel

From Search Tab :  select Search Tab: type the name of channel, click on Go. you will see the results of channels. from results , select your channel and click on it.

From LiveTab :In Live Tab, 4th Row is "Add Channel". click on that. you will get Link page, where you can manually provide the link. if link is correct, we will verify thee link automatically and add its to favourite. now go to favourite tab, click on it. it will plays.

From web browser: Click on the link of channel. It will load the "A Online Radio" application to play the channel.

In Search Tab, type "lamega". you will get your channel listed there. click on it. it will play. and add it to your favorites.

   We just try to collect some statistics of usage.

Favourites tab lists all channels of your interest.

  Initially its preloaded based on country entered by you in registration page

        To Add favourites: 

             1) From all Tabs:
                Menu>command- Add Favourites is available. Select channel in any tab and click on Menu> Add channel command.

             2) From Player Window:
                   click on Star button !

    You dont need to remember the login/password. The app loads it for you. so just click on Login.
